

Celebrating 15 Years of Service to Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
The observance featured a new film which highlighted the many achievements of CSC in serving individuals with developmental disabilities for the past 15 years. The film also highlighted the work which the international wing of CSC has achieved in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Kerala.
The screening was followed by a poignant performance by Ms Cathy Campell, who has Cerebral Palsy, Cathy sang "I am crazy about you" from her wheelchair. She received a standing ovation. Other individuals with developmental disabilities were also given the opportunity to appear on stage, proudly displaying a huge banner which read, "Center for Social Change -15 years" Ms Roma Kapoor, Director, United Way, India Initiatives said that she was very impressed by the work which CSC had accomplished in a span of 15 years. "I am proud and honored to be associated with CSC and work to the common goals of Changing Lives," she said.
Dr. Joseph Mathew, Founder and CEO of CSC ardently appealed to the attendees that it was a moral and social obligation for each one to step forward and serve individuals with developmental disabilities in any way that they could.
The evening's primary event was the staging of a socially relevant play, "The Trial of Dara Sikoh" by the Global Performing Arts Company. In attendance was Dr. Akbar Ahmed, the writer of the play.
