HALLOWEEN 2011
This year’s “Holiday Bash”, scheduled to coincide with Halloween, brought out individuals and guests, and even the occasional rodent! For several hours on the night of the recent event, CSC’s SE area was transformed into a venue for fun, food, and festivities. Face painting enhanced the many costumes worn, and musical entertainment was provided courtesy of Nathan Stokes, the DJ for the evening. Nathan succeeded, as always, in ensuring that everyone got up to dance to some rocking tunes, and that plenty of line-dancing was on the musical program. Perhaps the highlight of the evening, for some, was the opportunity to visit with a character they may have only hoped to see in real life, as Mickey Mouse was lured away from his other duties to pay a visit at CSC. Pita sandwiches and sides satisfied everyone’s appetites, and the evening ended with assorted ghosts, goblins, and Jimmy Buffet wanna-be’s having satisfied their ghoulish needs for the night. .
