Edwin

Antonio - Individual in Residential Program

Edwin Burtwell, who is the individuals' representative on the Board of Directors of CSC, likes to travel. He went to Disneyland, California, with Trips, Inc., a company that offers vacation travel for adults with special needs/developmental disabilities. Edwin, who has been with CSC since 1994, brought back Disney souvenirs, a bunch of cool photos and lots of exciting memories. Edwin worked hard to earn enough money to take the vacation to Disneyland. "It was incredible fun," says Edwin. He is looking forward to visiting Disney World in Orlando, Florida this year!

As a board member, he has gained a lot of experience in the decision-making process. Edwin is proud to be a board member. He believes that he deserves it because he came to CSC 14 years ago and became a spokesperson for his colleagues. Edwin is an introvert but he knows what to ask for and what to say at all times. Ask Edwin anything, he will have a quick short answer that is always the right answer. No problem in identifying Edwin in a crowd because he always wears a baseball cap and of course wears it backward! Ask him why, and with a smile he would say, "It's cool!"
