Robert

Robert

Robert has been the proud owner of R&M Flowers which he started with a partner in July 2004 with assistance from CSC Supported Employment program. Robert liked the idea of a business, not mainly for the money, but for the opportunity to communicate with people. Robert even talks to the plants that he sold! In an interview with The Baltimore County Times, Robert said that he had other jobs briefly over the years, but this one is very special. Now, "I talk to plants and people everyday. I even bless the plants when they get sold so they'll live long and prosper." Robert, however, could not continue the business due to a deteriorating medical condition.

This young man who suffered brain injury in an automobile accident has been living in the community with CSC for the past several years. Robert is a fun loving, humorous person who has high opinions about his housemates, colleagues and staff. He wants attention from everyone especially from the administrative staff. He makes his choices known to anyone who works with him. Robert stands out in a crowd because he seeks attention. He remembers to call out people's names, especially the names of ladies!

Robert wanted to sell flowers from R&M Flowers at very reasonable prices. He went to your place to deliver them if you prefer. (Robert charged them extra for the trip!).
